PermaRock achieves new ISO Standards (ISO 9001 + 14001)

PermaRock has successfully achieved transition certification to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 for its quality and environmental management systems through the British Standards Institution (BSI).

The business was previously certified by the BSI to management system standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. In September 2015, revised versions of these standards were published and a period of three years was allowed for companies to update their management systems to meet the requirements of the revised standards and to go through transition assessment and certification.

This was a significant undertaking as the new standards incorporate major changes compared to previous versions.

In addition to the many internal benefits of operating quality and environmental a management systems, having external certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 enables us to demonstrate our commitment to these standards to our customers and provides our customers with assurance that we operate within a controlled framework, giving them confidence in our ability to manufacture and supply our products and registered installer training effectively and to the highest standards.

Commenting on this important achievement, Sean Waldrum, PermaRock Managing Director, stated; “Successfully transitioning to the new ISO standard, ahead of schedule, demonstrates PermaRock’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction. This conforms with our company values and also presents how advanced and effective our Environmental Management and Quality Systems have become. Being a UK manufacturer, we have a corporate social responsibility and our accreditation’s to 9001 and 14001 provide customers with the reassurance of knowing they are working with an assured supplier”
