The National Retrofit Conference at Futurebuildis coming up next week, in his capacity as Chair of the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG), which is dedicated to policy development with the government, our owner Derek Horrocks will participate in a discussion putting policy in the spotlight.
In the session titled 'The Policy Roadmap for Retrofit,' Derek will be alongside Samantha Shea, head of policy insight and engagement at Gemserv, a Talan Company; Lord Callanan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero; and Simon Ayers MBE, chief executive at TrustMark.
The government has made substantial investments in recent years toward retrofitting and decarbonising homes nationwide.
