U-Value Calculations
Permarock can provide U-values calculated in accordance with BS EN ISO 6946: 2007 using standard data. They take into account thermal bridging effects for insulation fixings at a typical installation rate.
Our calculations can help clients to demonstrate that wall constructions comply with the requirements of the Building Regulations for the conservation of Fuel and Power, namely:
- Approved Documents L1 (dwellings) and L2 (other buildings) for England & Wales
- Technical Standards (Section 6) for Scotland.
Alongside each set of U-value calculations, we also provide an assessment of condensation risk. We can factor in different internal and external environmental conditions to reflect the various ways in which different types of buildings are used. In this way, we can make accurate assessments of condensation risks and tailor our designs accordingly.
