On-site Technical Support
In addition to providing design and technical support from the earliest stages of a scheme, we can also provide on-site support.
We provide clients and installers with detailed specifications including installation method statements and comprehensive listings of system components. Once an installation has commenced, our technicians will make regular site visits to support contractual stakeholders. We can assist in problem-solving and ensure that the installation is undertaken to the required standards – supporting a ‘right first time’ ethos.
This helps to safeguard quality standards and to ensure that work is conducted in full accordance with the specification.
As well as on-site engagement, we regularly share product updates, technical bulletins, and guidance on industry best practice to ensure that installers remain informed and confident in their application of our systems.
This ongoing support helps to maintain high standards and encourages a collaborative, informed approach throughout the installation process.
Live Reporting
We have developed tablet-based applications for our Technical Services Technicians. These allow them to record findings from site inspections and site testing. The apps enable them to work more efficiently on large projects where significant numbers of inspections are being undertaken. Findings can be reported to the installer and other stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner.
Operative Competency Checking
Our training regime meets the requirements of the BBA Surveillance Scheme for Installers. Competency checking is mapped to Skills & Knowledge Profiles in the National Occupational Standards (in line with NVQ Requirements). Operatives are monitored during site-visits on an ongoing basis and their workmanship is assessed against installation requirements.
Through this monitoring work, we can support a policy of continuous improvement and help to minimise the risks of defects and delays.
