EPS-Premium External Wall Insulation Systems
Permarock EPS-Premium external wall insulation systems are advanced, high-performance solutions designed to deliver exceptional thermal efficiency in both new and existing buildings. These lightweight systems utilize low-lambda expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation boards, which incorporate microscopic graphite particles—commonly referred to as Grey EPS.
This innovative addition significantly enhances the thermal conductivity of the panels by reflecting and absorbing radiant heat, allowing for superior insulation performance compared to standard white EPS.
These are tested and certified for use on low-rise buildings, up to 11 metres. Certificated Permarock EPS EWI systems are available featuring the following decorative finishes:
Permarock SiliconeUltra K Finish
Brick Slip Finish
Brick-Effect Render
Dry Dash Finishes

Thermal Performance
Systems can be designed to achieve very low U-values.
Weather Resistance
Provides a weather resistant cladding to new and existing backing walls of brick and block masonry, dense and no-fines concrete. Can be designed for use on buildings in locations where the wind-driven rain exposure classification is ‘very severe’.
Wind Loads
Systems can be designed to meet all anticipated UK wind load requirements.
Impact Resistance
Systems can be designed for the zones associated with Categories I, II and III in accordance with EAD 040083-00-0404.
Fire Performance
The system is classified as European Classification:
- B-s1, d0, in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, when incorporating brick slip finish.
- B-s2, d0 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, when incorporating silicone, brick-effect render or dash finish.
Water Vapour Permeability
The systems are water vapour permeable. The rate of permeability depends on the system (thickness and decorative finish type) selected.
Design Life
The system has a design life in excess of 30 years.
