THERMAREND /
ThermaRend is a unique high build, low density render system with a track record of over 25 years in the UK.
The standard ThermaRend material is suitable for application to most solid substrate types, including brickwork, dense and no-fines concrete, dense and aerated concrete blockwork, etc.
ThermaRend Precoat, a high adhesion variant of the standard material, can be used for application onto critical substrates and where additional bond strength is required.
The low density of ThermaRend makes it ideal for rapid coverage of wall areas in thick sections: ThermaRend can be applied in layers of up to 40 mm thick in a single application by trowel. Application by machine enables greater thickness to be achieved using multiple layers, applied wet-on-wet, at up to 40 mm per layer.
The unique formulation, incorporating polystyrene spheres in a cementitious matrix with other additives, gives the material heat loss reduction properties (0.087 W/mK to BS 874) that allows the use of the material as a contributor towards meeting U-value requirements of external walls and soffits.
ThermaRend is non-combustible. PermaRock's full range of decorative finishes and effects can be used with ThermaRend.
